Mine-full Adventure

(My notes for this are rather incomplete, I'll have to check my email logs.)

The Mine has run into a Kobold nest and the Party signs on to resolve the issue for Lady Naomi.

We agreed to clear the mine for 2000GP/person to a Max of 20,000GP.

This is where we experienced "the exploding goat", or what not to do with exploding runes...

This is where Ivan came from.

This where we almost bought it under hordes of Kobolds.

This is where Nasar's adventures with his ancestors began...

Session 1 - Nov 11, 2004

The crew stocks up and hires a bunch of people to help rebuild the mining town

Session 2 - Dec 2, 2004

We killed 4 kobolds, mostly via the zombie kobolds, when they were ambushing us while we were recovering from the traps.

We had an interesting adventure with the infernal machine, aka spear chucker, and managed to blow it up, and light it on fire, and collapsed part of the roof of the tunnel there. We fled for our lives, and from the smoke.

Session 3 - Dec 30, 2004

Basically we cleared the tunnel, left Millain outside as she was getting tired of the zombies and went to explore the next stretch of the mine.

We ran into 4 mutated cave bear cubs, which made our hands full and then along came Momma who snuffed Aethereon with a claw, claw, bite move that spun him around and removed one of his legs... Gotta admit he went out in acrobatic style...

Nikolai was buried and dying under some of the cubs, Andrews character zombified one of the cubs and Momma had to face that zombied cub, which gave us a few seconds savings to get back through the hole before almost getting chomped ourselves...

Nikolai almost killed Nasar with a lightning blast while he was coming to, but took out both the zombified cub, and Momma with two blasts...

Cleared Tunnel Found 4 mutant baby dire bears Found 1 Mama Dire bear

1 wounded baby dire bear still left

Aethereon dies by a swat of the Mama Dire Bear's paw, while saving Nasar and Nikolai

Session 6 - Feb 17th, 2005

Used Fireball spell/scroll

Session 8 - Mar 17th

Once we cleared it, a Paladin was appointed and took over the running of the mine.

In Troubled Fey it turns out the Paladin was eaten by an Illithid called the "Dark Master" or "Dark One" by the Kobolds, and who disguised themselves as the Paladin. And some or all of the Kobolds were used to attack the Waterfall City and cause many of the problems...

We really should have questioned Ivan more!
