Hussain
Hussain is a stern old man. He is a curmudgeon, hiding his natural charm and love of people behind a stern, gruff business-first persona. When he lets his guard down he is a truly wonderful person to be around, always full of good humour and sage advice. He thinks of all Grendallians as his children and grandchildren and is extremely protective of them. He is a cautious person in business dealings, preferring to think long and hard before agreeing on important matters. He was a spymaster for a few years in his younger days, but retired after he was badly wounded in an ambush he organized (resulting in his low Con score). He still has a large scar on the right side of his chest and favours that side when tired. He indulges his entourage and they frequently call him grandpa. His official reason for being at The Keep was to put an end to the problems with selective bandit raids on Grendalli trade in and near Sybandia. He is aware that there have been several retaliatory acts of sabotage by his government. He is also sorely aware of the fact that the Royal house doesn’t trust the loyalty of his noble house and he wants to ensure that they don’t use this as an excuse to impose more of their draconian order.
