Their current borders enclose a network of towns on the rolling hills and plains. The government has since descended into a loose-knit collection of feuding free-towns held together by the strongest and most charismatic leader. Their politics tend to be cyclic. Years of stability while one leader clearly dominates are followed by years of near-chaos as leadership changes hands frequently between similarly matched candidates. Their economy is founded on ranching and the excellent warhorses they breed. Their relations with the other noble houses fluctuate wildly due to the unpredictable nature of their internal politics. Lady Nadezhda has ruled with a velvet-covered gauntlet for almost a decade. There are several border skirmishes a year with the Cleansed Lands. They are on good terms with all of their other immediate neighbours and are too internally focused to bother with the rest. They have a very high rate of sorcerors and the best warhorses in the kingdom. Additionally, their soldiers are some of the most experienced in Asgrim due to the constant internal feuding. In recent years they have been heard to joke about taking tours at the Keep as vacations.
