Valgal is ruled by the fiery-tempered Noble Clan of Valgal and controls the surrounding low mountains, high hills, and cave networks. The Valgalian government is a traditional dwarven government. Their economy is based upon extensive mining and smithying operations. The overwhelmingly dwarven population is generally happy and content. Their relations with their neighbours are generally orderly and peaceful, although the temper of some of their nobles has led to occasional diplomatic problems. Their military reputation is also traditionally dwarven: fierce, brutal, and effective.<br />
